JOANNA HUGHES

Joanna Hughes, born and raised in Ottawa, Canada, trained in New York City at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Steps on Broadway, and Broadway Dance Center.  She also studied at HB Studio, where she focused on character-driven storytelling influenced by Uta Hagen. That experience shaped her attention to detail and a strong foundation in both performance and production.

 

Joanna's work centers on building fantasy worlds that mirror real life challenges. Whether working on a full-length ballet or a screen project, Joanna enjoys collaborating with others who can bring their expertise to the production. 

 

As the creator of QUANTIK, she applies that approach to storytelling, focusing on character and internal transformation as the driving force of the narrative.
